Work out your own number

Add your children and it calculates as you go. Nothing is sent anywhere, there is no form, and you do not have to give us an email address to see the figure.

  • Sibling discounts

Second child 10% off. Third child 15%. Fourth and beyond 20%. Applied automatically to the lower tuition, you do not need to ask.

  • Fees

One registration fee of $350 per student, credited toward your first tuition installment. There is no application fee and no re-enrollment fee.

  • Payment plans

Pay annually, in two installments, or across ten monthly payments from August to May. All three cost the same. There is no surcharge for paying monthly.

Financial aid, before you rule us out

Aid at Cedarbrook is need-based and assessed on one form. About 40% of our families receive it and the average award is $2,100 per student per year. Applying for aid does not affect an admissions decision. The two are reviewed by different people.

No family who is a fit for Cedarbrook has been turned away for cost. Ask us before you rule us out.

Applying for 2027-28

Five steps, with the dates

This is the whole process. There is nothing after step five except a first day.

  1. October 1, 2026

    Next up

    Applications open

The application for the 2027-28 school year opens online. It takes about twenty minutes. You will need your child's last report card and immunization record.

  2. December 15, 2026

    Priority deadline

Apply by this date and your child is reviewed in the first round, when the most seats are open. Applications after December 15 are still read, and placed as space allows.

  3. January to February 2027

    Placement assessment and family conversation

Your child spends about 45 minutes on campus with a teacher, and you sit down with the division head. This is not an exam to pass. It tells us where to place your child and whether we can serve them well.

  4. March 1, 2027

    Decisions released

Every family hears by email on the same day, admitted or not. Nobody is left waiting on a phone call.

  5. March 15, 2027

    Enrollment agreement due

Return the signed agreement and the $350 registration fee to hold the seat. After March 15 we admit on a rolling basis wherever seats remain.

Honestly

What we look for, and who we are not right for

  • A family, not just a student

The placement conversation is with your child and with you. We are looking for a family that wants the same thing the school wants: a child who prays because it is theirs, and who is stretched academically rather than carried. You do not need a perfect report card. Two of the strongest seniors in the Class of 2026 arrived in Grade 7 reading below level.

  • A child we can actually serve

We have two learning specialists and we support documented dyslexia, ADHD and mild language processing needs inside the regular classroom. We do not have a self-contained special education program, a full-time speech therapist or a one-to-one aide on staff. If your child's plan requires those, we will tell you at the assessment rather than six weeks into the fall, and we will usually know which North Texas school does have them.

  • Where we are honestly not the fit

If you want a school where Islamic studies is one elective period and everything else looks like a public magnet, that is a real preference and we are not it. Quran and Arabic take two periods of every day here and that time comes from somewhere. Equally, if you want a hifz-only program where academics are secondary, we are not that either. Cedarbrook is for families who want both held to the same standard, and who accept that this makes for a full day.
